Abstract

The objective is to determine the predictive function of motivational factors represented by attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control in entrepreneurship and innovation intentions. In the second semester of 2021, 167 questionnaires were collected in a business school in southern Tamaulipas to apply structural equation modeling. The results showed that attitude and perceived behavioral control positively predict entrepreneurship and innovation intentions, while subjective norm only predicts entrepreneurship intention. The reflection of the study suggests the cultivation of motivational factors in students to trigger their entrepreneurial and innovative nature, expanding the range of possibilities in their future insertion into the labor market.
