Respuesta inmunitaria del perro a la arginina cinasa de la garrapata Rhipicephalus sanguineus

Las garrapatas son ectoparásitos que afectan al humano, animales de compañía y de producción, siendo vectores de patógenos bacterianos y virales. Rhipicephalus sanguineus, comunmente conocida como garrapata café, es el ectoparásito más ampliamente distribuido en México y el mundo. Los perros son parte de su ciclo de vida, siendo de gran interés en temas de salud pública y veterinaria. En esta revisión se presenta información relevante acerca de la respuesta inmune a la garrapata café en perros. En particular, contribuimos al conocimiento sobre la potencial respuesta inmune del perro a la proteína arginina cinasa de garrapata, la cual es un alérgeno para humanos, sin embargo se desconoce si en perros ocurre un mecanismo análogo.
