Sistemas para la Liberación Sostenida de Doxorrubicina basados en sílice mesoporosa y quitosano: una revisión

Resumen

En última década se han desarrollado numerosos sistemas de liberación sostenida de diversos fármacos, sin embargo, es necesario continuar investigando sobre este tipo de sistemas para su empleo en la liberación controlada de fármacos anticancerígenos, puesto que aún no se cuenta con un sistema de liberación adecuado para su uso in vivo. Los biomateriales a base de quitosano y sílice han presentado resultados eficientes de liberación sostenidas in vitro, por lo que representan una excelente alternativa para su futuro empleo in vivo.
