Abstract

The book "Twenty Years Is Nothing: The Supreme Court and Constitutional Justice Before and After the 1994 Judicial Reform", published by the Center for Constitutional Studies of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) in 2018, offers a multidimensional analysis of the institutional transformation of the Federal Judiciary in Mexico, with an emphasis on the 1994 constitutional reform.

The primary objective of the book is to delve into the causes, processes, and consequences of this crucial reform, whose fundamental purpose was to consolidate the SCJN as a true constitutional court dedicated to resolving matters of a constitutional nature.
